All evening at TwestivalHK while the DJs are grooving downstairs, the upstairs Comedy Club will be totally ROFL — thanks to some of Hong Kong’s funniest comedians who have graciously volunteered to bring some levity to our cause.

Here’s our line-up:

Vivek Mahbubani

Vivek, a freelance web designer and developer, is a comedian who performs in English and Cantonese when he’s not drumming for his metal band, Eve of Sin, or staring at the color hot pink.

James Foreman

Wrote a novel about South London. Received death threats. Left the UK for Hong Kong. Writing a novel about Kowloon Tong. No death threats yet.

Kenneth Kwan

Kenneth Kwan is considered a comic’s comic’s comic, since nobody but comics understands his jokes (and that’s only when they’re drunk). Here’s what Jerry Seinfeld had to say about Kenneth: “Kenneth who?”

Kay Ross

Fun, fit, feisty, fabulous, 50+. Performs stand-up and comedy improvisation regularly at the TakeOut Comedy Club.

Matina Leung

Matina is a local girl who loves to be funnier each day. Since Fall 2008, she has performed stand-up at Champs Bar, Regal Hotel, City U, Mira Hotel, and regularly at the TakeOut Comedy Club.
Matina 每天想攪笑多一些！由08年秋季開始，她除了在 TakeOut Comedy Club 作定期楝篤笑演出外，亦曾在Champs Bar、Regal Hotel、City University、及Mira Hotel 演出。
